What employees want from benefits
As you’d expect during the worst cost-of-living crisis for decades, employees place most importance on benefits that protect and enhance their financial wellbeing. 65% of employees state that it is very important that the benefits offered by their employer support their financial wellbeing, up from 56% in 2022.
Interestingly, employees in the US, India and the UK are much more likely to consider benefits that support financial wellbeing as being very important, compared with those in Singapore.
Alongside financial wellbeing, employees still want benefits that let them achieve a greater work-life balance, that offer protection against illness and injury, and that support other aspects of their wellbeing such as physical and mental health.
